I got slightly sidetracked while preparing my contribution to a future blog train, and these papers are the results. Over the next couple of weeks you’ll likely see even more of my distractions.
I’ll be the first to admit that a large portion of my downtime lately has been browsing Facebook and playing one of those games that ask you to pay for diamonds and gems and crowns, I think, to raise your village to great heights! (Mine is a flourishing medieval town right now, for those who are wondering.) Call me Mama Lazy and you wouldn’t be too far off.
But I have been somewhat productive. Seems that my designing mojo is returning (slowly) and I’ve been whipping out some of my favourite tools to create lovely patterns. Basic perhaps, but after the slump I’ve been experiencing, it’s definitely something!
Today’s offering is a dazzling collection of fine gold filigree patterns on luscious dark backgrounds. The papers look much prettier at their full size.

It’s spring cleaning time! Well, autumn cleaning. The weather is cooling and the clutter has been building, both physical and digital, so this week I’m throwing together all the mixed up whatsits papers that I’ve got left straggling around my hard drive. The scraps, if you will.
Hopefully they can be of some use to somebody.

(There are 28 papers in total so it’s a pretty large file but I’m happy to break it up if anyone needs smaller, more manageable files.)
In the midst of a stupidly hot summer, we had ONE cool day. Then the temperature shot right back up to a relatively reasonable 30ºC (a huge relief after the 37º+ days earlier in the month). The cool change inspired me to make some cute red and yellow knitted patterned papers – and so comes this week’s freebie!
Hope your week is cooler than mine – in every way!
Although I’m true blue Aussie now, I was born in Portugal. I’ve travelled back a couple of times for family trips and because I’m a history geek and Portugal has a rich and vibrant history. It also boasts some striking architecture and gorgeous ceramic tilework. This week’s free paper pack is inspired by the blue and white tilework that you’ll find in almost every Portuguese household, old and new.
Lets take a break from all the red, green and sparkly Christmas colours for a week, yeah?
This week I have some pretty cool terracotta patterned papers for all your … home renovation layouts? I’m sure you can use them for other stuff, though.

We’re finally in December – a new month means a new blog train at PixelScrapper – the loveliest digital scrapbooking forum around, so go check it out if you’re in the neighbourhood. This month’s theme is Home for the Holidays.
The first of this month conveniently falls on a Friday, so I can offer you my contribution straight away. It’s a (pretty big) mini kit with all the trimmings! I’m actually really happy with this kit, especially the wooden charms – I made them from scratch! And the button snowman is super cute, if I do say so myself.
