Another paper pack this week, beautiful golden tiles with patterns in gorgeous jewelled tones. Purple, green, red, and a hint of blue.
I’m pretty sure I actually popped it sometime last week and what remains to write this post is merely a snotty, achy mostly human husk of ouch.
I have a sinus infection. A pretty bad one. It’s making me a bit mopey.
So I shall combat the mopiness with PRETTY PURPLE! Because everyone loves purple. And those who say they don’t are LYING LIARS WHO LIE.
Here, have some papers.
Happy (healthy) scrapping!
It’s June. Almost halfway through the year. Anyone else blown away with how quick the last five months have gone? I certainly am.
This month’s Pixel Scrapper blog train is Oh! The Places You’ll Go. So let us reflect on the first half of 2018 speeding by – and all we can accomplish in the months to come!
Today is your day – so hop to it and happy scrapping!
I’m on a bit of a vintage kick at the moment. I’ve been doing some heritage craft projects and I just find myself collecting gorgeous old fashioned ephemera and patterns and postcards.
The papers in this week’s pack are inspired by a book of vintage kitchen wallpaper samples. Soft, sweet and flowery in subtle colours.
I’ll be the first to admit that a large portion of my downtime lately has been browsing Facebook and playing one of those games that ask you to pay for diamonds and gems and crowns, I think, to raise your village to great heights! (Mine is a flourishing medieval town right now, for those who are wondering.) Call me Mama Lazy and you wouldn’t be too far off.
But I have been somewhat productive. Seems that my designing mojo is returning (slowly) and I’ve been whipping out some of my favourite tools to create lovely patterns. Basic perhaps, but after the slump I’ve been experiencing, it’s definitely something!
Today’s offering is a dazzling collection of fine gold filigree patterns on luscious dark backgrounds. The papers look much prettier at their full size.

You know, I thought that having my kids at preschool and kindy would make my life easier and allow me to get things done. Boy, was I deluded. I’ve been wildly off my feet with all sorts of exciting activities; I don’t even know which was is up anymore, or what day it is or what the heck I’m supposed to be doing right now. (Shopping maybe? Shopping sounds fun.)
So I chilled out in that spare five seconds I’ve had this month and made some vintage-y flower journal cards. Hope you like them and find them useful. Click on the image below to start your download.
You can check out the Pixel Scrapper forums for some gorgeous and amazing flowery goodness.
I had these gorgeous images that I was using for another project, and I thought they’d make lovely journal cards. I love vintage ephmera. I probably have more than I should – I definitely have more than I’ll ever need! Might as well make use of it and share it.
There are four cards of sweet little vintage illustrations, in both colour and black and white.
