Freebie Friday – Retro Holly Jolly [PixelScrapper December Blog Train]

We’re almost there!

Christmas is my favourite time of the year. It’s a crazy, stressful, chaotic time – but boy, is it fun!

The tree is decorated, the presents are haphazardly piled up and waiting to be wrapped (I’ll get to it eventually), and my kids are pretty sick of hearing “All I Want For Christmas (Is You)” fifty times a day.

It’s also hot, humid and gross – perfect Aussie Christmas weather!

And it wouldn’t be a celebration without the Pixel Scrapper December blog train! It’s an amazing collection this year, and my contribution is a cute little mini kit, with a few extras to follow in the weeks up til Christmas.

Happy holidays!

Freebie Friday – Vintage Christmas Journal Cards

Although it’s technically not yet December (it’s so inconvenient when these things don’t fall on Fridays, isn’t it?), there’s nothing in the rules to say that we can’t kick off the Christmas freebies a little early.

It’s only one day, after all and, honestly, the Christmas playlist has been on repeat for a month and the tree went up two weeks ago …

‘TIS THE SEASON!

Freebie Friday – Dino Roar Bottle Caps

Last month I participated in the October “I Dig It” PixelScrapper blog train. Since I was drowning in toy cars, and ocasionally stepping on them too because my children are blind to mess, I focused on a cute little construction theme. Later, as the others posted, I thought how cool would a dinosaur themed kit be?

It would be DINO-MITE, AMIRITE?

So I set to work and you can find the resulting dino-riffic kit (or bundle if you’d like some more bits and pieces) on Etsy.

As a sneak peek, this week I have some super cool matching dinosaur bottle caps for you. (Click on the image below to download.)

Next week we have the final random freebie of the year before it all falls to CHRISTMAS! LOTS OF CHRISTMAS!

Freebie Friday – Kraft Sketch Borders

As October has marched right on by (it’s November, WTF?), I am once again struck by how fast this year has gone. But then again, I feel the same way every year. I just get to a point where I’m continuously freaking out each time I glance a calendar. To be fair the second half of 2018 has presented slightly more of a challenge than previous years, but damn, it’s still gone by so fast!

But I must march onwards too because I’ve let too much fall by the wayside! Busy, busy, busy.

Anyway, onto this week’s freebie!

This lovely set of paper border strips perfectly complements this earlier Sketched Kraft freebie.

Happy scrapping!

Freebie Friday – Halloweenies Stickers

I just want to give a big thank you to everyone who joined my “I’m sick and pregnant and woe is me” pity party. I really appreciate the solidarity! You guys are all AWESOME.

Halloween is quickly sneaking up – and Christmas isn’t far behind, eek! – and, despite my initial plans to make a cool and creepy mini kit, all I’ve got are some cute and creepy pumpkin stickers.

(But the Christmas kit is gonna be great, I promise!)

Hope your Halloween is delightfully creepy!

Freebie Friday – Sketched Kraft

(Okay, so it’s Monday and not Friday. Lets just pretend I got this done in time.)

The party planning is over, my infection has cleared, and I am free to actually be a productive member of society again!

At least until the planning for Christmas starts …

In the meantime, I’m clearing out the rest of my paper stash. I have a handful of projects in the works and the digital clutter is starting to bug me. Spring cleaning all around! There are 3 paper packs included with 20 papers in each. Some of the patterns are quite similar but I just couldn’t choose between the slight variations. I do hope you find them useful.

Freebie Friday – Blue Watercolour

Whoa, what a week. Or three. I’ve lost count. Between sick, sick and sicker, along with questionably timed 12km hikes, an upcoming birthday party and I don’t even know what’s happening anymore.

It’s already the second week of October and I have absolutely no clue where 2018 has gone. (It’s probably under the couch with all that missing LEGO. I’ll check later.)

This week we have some lovely calm blue patterned watercolour papers. Because I could sure as heck use the CALM.
